1. Metal-Supported Niobium Catalysts Investigation for Conversion of Bio-Renewable Glycerol to Organic Compounds
The glycerol oxidative dehydration to organic compounds, especially acrolein and acrylic acid, was studied over vanadium, molybdenum, and cobalt oxides supported on niobium oxide and niobium phosphate catalysts. At 300 °C, the glycerol conversion was 100% over all catalysts tested, and acrolein was the main product observed, without significant deactivation

2. Reaching Circular Economy through Circular Chemistry: The Basis for Sustainable Development
Circular chemistry (CC) is an approach for establishing chemical processes to become truly circular and sustainable. It adopts the principles of circular economy (CE), employing life cycle approaches and systems thinking, which help to understand and address the sustainability issues of chemical processes and products. Within this whole context, it is possib

4. Effect of Trinexapac-Ethyl, at Two Application Timings, on the Initial Development of Eucalyptus under Water Deficit

5. Development and Validation of a Stability-Indicating Method for Perillyl Alcohol Incorporated in Poly(lactide-co-glycolide) Nanoparticles and Stress Degradation Studies
Perillyl alcohol has been studied in the treatment of cancer disease. However, its high toxicity is a drawback, which can be overcome by its incorporation in nanostructured systems. The aim of this work was to develop and validate a chromatographic method for determination of perillyl alcohol encapsulation efficiency in a polymeric nanoparticles formulation

7. A stability-indicating HPLC-PDA method for the determination of ferulic acid in chitosan-coated poly(lactide-co-glycolide) nanoparticles
ABSTRACT The development and validation of a simple and efficient method for the quantification of ferulic acid in poly (D,L-lactide-co-glycolide) (PLGA) nanoparticles coated with chitosan (CS) by reverse phase high performance liquid chromatography coupled to photodiode array detection was described. For the chromatographic analysis, a reverse phase C-18 co

9. Stability of gluten free sweet biscuit elaborated with rice bran, broken rice and okara
Abstract A challenge to the food sector has been the development of new products incorporating co-products from the food processing industry with minimal impact on their pre-determined structures and adding nutritional quality. In order to add value and develop alternatives for the use of co-products generated during the agroindustrial processing, this work

10. Convergence in information and communication technology (ICT) using patent analysis
Since the 1990s, information and communication technology (ICT) has been perceived as the critical technology for economic development, and the ICT industry itself has been growing exceptionally fast. Moreover, technology convergence in ICT has received particular attention. ICT innovations diffuse into existing products and thus come to form a new integral

11. Target-directed catalytic metallodrugs
Most drugs function by binding reversibly to specific biological targets, and therapeutic effects generally require saturation of these targets. One means of decreasing required drug concentrations is incorporation of reactive metal centers that elicit irreversible modification of targets. A common approach has been the design of artificial proteases/nucleas
