RESUMO

The main objective of this job is to describe a method that helps people involved in mobile computing systems developing to choose devices for an application. This method is based in two principles. The first one is that the quality of use is an important factor to be successful when using a mobile device. The second one is that it is possible to measure the quality of use of a mobile device, by analyzing the parameters from the context of its use. One considered, besides, that the context of use for a mobile device must consists of four items at least: the environment of application, the user s profile, the characteristics of the device and the characteristics of the task.
