RESUMO

The American Nurses Association (ANA) created the term of Diagnostic Nursing (DN) in 1973, when it established North American Nursing Diagnosis Association (NANDA). Conceptually, DN it is the expression of the clinical judgment, carried through for the nurse, front the individual, familiar or communitarian answers the problems of vital, real or potential health/processes (CARPENITO, 2003; NANDA, 2002; NIELSEN, MORTENSEN, 1997). This terminology created a classification of terms that if considered to standardize the language of the profession and not practical it of nursing. So soon, it can be affirmed that DN it defines the body of knowledge for which the nursing it is responsible and it provided a unified system of terms to assist the nurses how much the evaluation, identification and description of the data proceeding from the interaction nurse-patient (CARPENITO, 1997). The current result is Taxonomy II of the ones DN of the NANDA with 155 diagnostics. However, to formulate itself DN a manual search to the related taxonomy, being then argued becomes necessary as delayed and of difficult practical applicability, beyond the delay formulating the syntax of the proper one DN, understanding heading, defining characteristic and related factor. Aiming at to brighten up this justification of delay and practical inoperative, a system model was considered which could indicate the probable ones DN in the pathological situation of Vascular Accident of the Brain (VAB), so that the same it could offer to a support to the decision with regard to diagnostic which the nurse could apply in a certain situation lived deeply in the daily one of to attend/to take care of in nursing, over all in Unit of Intensive Care (UIC). Of the 155 DN 13 of bigger incidence and applicability had been selected the patients with VAB; for this election the studies of Carpenito had been used (2003), the Theory of the Necessities Basic Human beings of Maslow (POTTER, PERRY, 2004; TIMBY, 2001 and ATKINSON, MURRAY, 1989) and the necessity of specific cares to these patients, endorsing itself in Kelley (2003) and Devinsky, et al. (2001). DN separate and they had been grouped by physiological systems the one that each one belonged, following the election of this selective triad. Sequentially, the same ones had been made use in power to decide trees with the aid of the Visio Professional 6 (MICROSOFT, 2000); after, the rules had been implemented that had originated the archetype for the tests, using themselves, for in such a way, of software Matlab 6,5 (MATHWORKS 2005). The archetype requires given simple, objective and of fast information, which is requested from a questionnaire created for this study, to each established physiological system from the election of the ones DN. 4 cases of VAB had been tested, being the gotten results: a) the fast information of the data in the archetype; b) was needed simple data to generate the information to the archetype; c) the survey of all was gotten the probable ones DN the each considered physiological system and d) DN found had been described obeying the rules of Taxonomy NANDA. To the end of the study it is affirmed: the archetype reduced the search time and of formularization of the ones DN, agility to the information of the data was proven and described according to DN standard of the Taxonomy of the NANDA, becoming useful, fast and practical the detention of the necessary diagnostic to the practical one of to attend/to take care of in nursing.
