RESUMO

This study aims to present the elements of an ethics of integration. Starting from a comprehension about the genesis and development of the information society, this study concentrates on the approach of the characteristics of this moment in which the globalization of the economy, the information and the culture are inserted in a context of neo-liberal principles. This social model is backed up by the modern information technologies, changing the power relations in the worldwide space and drawing a new role of the State. The ethic diagnosis comprehends the approach of the main characteristics that are linked to the moral behavior, marked by the principles of the ethics of utilitarianism and pragmatics. The ethics of integration is an ethics of life, of cooperation and solidarity, focused on the causes and social problems related to education and work. It supports a social praxis of inclusion and universal as well as democratic access to the new information and education technologies, such as the information technology (computer science), the internet and the technotronics. It evaluates the new axiology of the information society based on the values in the era of ?the man and nation of bar codes?. Individuals and nations go through the logics of capitalism and its values, now measured as goods and business opportunities. Therefore, education, work, resources and capitals determine the social condition and the ethic behavior of these characters
