Simulação de O-pinches com tres fluidos : eletrons, ions e ions refletidos

RESUMO

A one dimensional three fluid model, one for ions, the other for electrons and a third fluid for the reflected ions is derived and it is used to simulate implosions of q-pinches. The model to handle the reflected ions treats the reflections that occur in the abrupt potentials, that develop during the implosion, as collisions. Moments of these collisional terms take into account the reflected ion contribution, in this three fluid model. The low density fast q-pinch of the University of Mary land is simulated. The simulations compare favorably with the experimental results for density profiles and ion temperature, in the case of different bias field. The simulations also obey scale laws for different parameters as density, temperature, etc. The Tupã, q-pinch of the UNICAMP, is also simulated. Agreement is found with implosion time and ion temperature if adequate values of Zef or initial temperature are chosen
