Reforma curricular e o ensino de historia nas escolas do Centro Paula Souza

RESUMO
This work is aimed at recovering the construcion of a teaching proposal in Theme History at the begining of the 1990s in fourteen schools belonging to Centro Estadual de Educação Tecnológica Paula Souza (CEETEPS), when an amount of institutional reforms occurred. This proposal is not an isolated project as it takes part in the context of debates around the teaching of this subject in the State of São Paulo, mainly from 1986 on, when the release and the discussion on the proposal of Theme History was devised by Coordenadoria de Estudos e Normas Pedagógicas (CENP). On the other hand, this is not a CENP project: this is a project standardized within a peculiar institution the CEETEPS an autarkic state entity which benefits from administrative, financial and didactical autonomy and, therefore, bears its own distinctive features. During the curriculum reform process, the Theme History proposal generated discussions on the teaching of this subject in the institution. Referring to curricula studies which consider this field as being affected by multiple agents, including teachers, who are able to intervene in the signification of curricular proposals, this study attempted to pursue the tracks of this History proposal within the institution, devoting special focus on the teachers. The course of research shows the impacts and feasible negotiations as well as agreements among History teachers and coordinators concerned with the proposal at the instance of its elaboration. It also points out to different appropriations occurring as it is implemented by teachers in the classroom.
