RESUMO

In order to improve the software development process and to produce high quality products within the proposed schedule and budget, the last two decades has witnessed a focus change concerning the software process. Due to this change, research on the software development process was intensified and, several norms and standards were proposed in order to help developers in defining and improving software processes. In this context, Oliveira proposed, in (Oliveira, 2005), a definition of software process implementation environment, called ImPProS (Software Process Progressive Implementation Environment). This environment will make it possible the specification of the processes in accordance with a specific project domain and the characteristics of the organization; the instantiation of the process for projects properties; its simulation from the configuration parameters (time, pressures, cost, resources, etc.); its execution based on the organizational process; and its evaluation through metrics collected about its execution. This Master Thesis describes the evolution of the process evaluation tool of ImPPros environment, ProEvaluator 2.0, that contains a generic models of software process improvement and evaluation.
