RESUMO

The identity is a process, a transformation unchained in the daily relations inside of a historical, social and economic context that the individual lives. It possesss a spaciality defined for three elements: the conscience of identity, the excluisiveness and the share of the interaction human being in the space. The identity is defines by territoriality of a social group as well as in the one of individual. The present work treats of the social and territorial identity of the Kalungas that migrated from the Sítio Histórico e Patrimônio Cultural Kalunga, in the state of Goiás, to the urban area of the Distrito Federal in search of job, education and public health. Being thus the object of the research it is to analyze that type of transformations happen in the migrant Kalunga’s identity with your spacial move. The hypothesus developed in the work is of that migrants Kalungas keep relations belongs with the Sítio, structural fact and conservative of its identity Kalunga in the DF. The adopted methodology was of the case study that allows the analize of the social unit as a whole. Either the method allows to analize the collective from the study of the individual.
