RESUMO

Our goal with this work is to seek possible solutions to a big problem currently experienced in the consumer market, that is, the reiterated behavior of certain suppliers of disregard for consumers. The insistence on certain abusive practices damages society, giving the chance to numerous conflicts of interests. Even though the consumer protection agencies act, some suppliers dont fear the administrative penalties and nor the numerous individual lawsuits that are underway. The renitency of behavior shows that the National Policy on Consumer Protection is not fulfilling its role in preventing disputes. This work tries to identify the issues that give cause for such positions of suppliers and propose solutions to improve the consumer market, in order that consumers feel more protected
