RESUMO

The comprehension of production of care to health of people victims of vertebra lesion send us overall to comprehend the social and health context existing in daily of people. Nowadays the chronic diseases not transmissible are presenting themselves with rise gradation and meaningful, among them it highlights the raquispinals lesions. The study searched to comprehend the meanings of experiences lived by the being victim of vertebra lesion in hospital context and to describe the narratives in range of experiences lived. The same was developed inside a qualitative approach with theoretical axis in Symbolic Interactionism of Norman Denzin. The subjects of research were 7 patients victims of traumatic vertebra lesion, hospitalized in an Unity of Neurology of Institute Dr. Jos? Frota, sited in Fortaleza-CE. The data were gotten through participant observation, interview and information of file, where we used as analysis method the hermeneutic phenomenology of Paul Ricoeur. The ethical legal principles were obeyed. From 7 patientes, 6 were men and 1 was woman, where 4 live currently in Fortaleza and the others 3 in municipals of state. The vertebra lesion had traumatic origin, being 4 victims of fall, 2 accidents of motorcycle and 1 lesion by fire gun. Based upon the findings, it was possible to apprehend that the cares developed along these patients were directed to biological needs, as hygiene, alimentation, vesicle eliminations, among others, cares these, several times done without no preoccupation with individuality of each human being, creating thus, uncomforted and embarrassment to patient. We noticed that psychological needs of patient were visibly altered, although we do not notice any action by health professionals, in sense of solve them. We believe to be fundamental that health professionals keep a holistic vision of patient victim of spinal lesion, identifying their real needs, can with this to do a full care, along them, qualifying thus, the care done.
