RESUMO
This work is based on psychoanalytic attendance to institutionalized children in collective shelters, who bring in their history a dramatic separation from their original love objects. The intent is to research not only the marks left by the loss of a beloved one at the time of psychic constitution. The level and intensity of the psychic effort required by a subject under construction, among the multiple, repeated and painful scenes lived before, during and after this event. Freudian, ferenczian and contemporary discussions about the concept of trauma take place in this work, and as a consequence to those discusions the formulation of two modes of presentation is released: the assimilable and the inassimilable traumas. While in the clinic these children are mostly found under manifestations of inassimilable traumas, at the order of the non-presentable, ruled by death pulsion, specific clinic proposals are then exposed
