Associating non-immersive virtual reality and cognitive tools for physics teaching / Associando realidade virtual nÃo-imersiva e ferramentas cognitivas para o ensino de fÃsica

RESUMO

This dissertation presents a proposal of integration of techniques of Virtual Reality and pedagogic processes, with the aim of developing, to apply and to evaluate, through a multidisciplinar team, a computational system education addressed for the teaching Physics in high shool. When analyzing some recent softwares developed for Physics teaching (WebTop, FisicaNet, LVEF, to Paint and LVCE) was verified that these possess limitations in their pedagogic structures. Thereby, seeking to supply these pedagogic limitations was proposed the SEFIRV (System of Physical Experiences Instructional in Virtual Reality) is composed by twenty-six virtual simulations within constructivist principles and conceptually interlinked through cognitive tools. For so much, it was developed a pedagogical drawing to stimulate learning of the apprentices. With the intention of eliminating the linear organization and linear distribution and one-dimensional of the contents a group of Graphic Organizers and Conceptual Maps were elaborated to provide to the student a visualization of the whole and of the parts among the concepts, as well as, the possibility to manage the learning. In relation to the technological aspects, non-immersive Virtual Reality (RV) was used, together with the VRML (Virtual Reality Modeling Language) language for the modeling of the three-dimensional objects and the JavaScript language for animation of the virtual atmospheres and interaction with the user. The overview of SEFIRV was limited to verify the usability of the system and the learning of physical concepts. The results of the overview were satisfactory, showing that the system contributes considerably to the process teaching/learning.
