A pesquisa e a prática pedagógica como um componente curricular do curso de pedagogia: uma possibilidade de articulação entre a teoria e a prática

RESUMO
This thesis has as its central theme the proposal of an initial training whereby pedagogical practice and research are presented as curricular components. This work has the objective of investigating the role of practical and pedagogical research in the enunciation of the theory and its practice in the curriculum of the Pedagogy Course of the Catholic College of Uberlândia. To that end the first chapter has outlined the genesis and evolution of the Course of Pedagogy in Brazil, from its first appearance to the time when the National Curriculum Policies were approved in May, 2006. It also shows the debate on the curriculum, on the pedagogical and the practical research aspects, and how these fulfill the contexture of the theoretical plot in which the structure of some concepts and meanings typify the foundation framework for this work. In the second chapter, it becomes evident the particular procedures of the methodology which was used to develop the research. It should be noted that in this thesis an option was made for the use of the Qualitative Method. Likewise, a Quantitative Methodology was also adopted in which such procedures for the collection of data were used: documentary analysis, focused group and questionnaire. In the third chapter, there were a number of issues to look into, such as the debate, analysis, elucidation, revision and inquiries into the collected data to determine the real plot of the reality. Four were the categories of the analysis, i.e. initial formation; pedagogical practice, and research and articulation between practice and research. Thus, based on the analysis, it is significant to mention that this study synthesizes the work whose aim is that of contributing to a dialogue with and between researchers on the possibility of articulating between theory and practice in the Pedagogy Course
