RESUMO

It has been noticed that the new technologies demand a new profile of a worker. As the output relations between employees and employers seem unchangeable, or in a more pessimist view, have become worse due to the increasing number of unemployment and economic crisis, therefore increasing the available workforce. In the context of inserting new technologies, new abilities are required but social relations of production are still the same, eventhough some improvement aspects in negotiations have been presented, where workers and employees struggle for distinct objectives. The productive process and the new technologies have changed the workers’ qualification and required abilities, but it does not mean democratization of theses relations. On the contrary, workers are more and more required and controlled, having to redouble their attention on this kind of “ high skilled” activity. In the past the capitalists were used to buying the workers’ strength and arms. Today, not satisfied enough, they also want the workers cooperation, mind and brains...
