RESUMO

The purposes of this research were to evaluete the changes in the regional agricultural production due to alterations in the official rural credit, as well as to examine the effects on brazilian agribusiness and also, identify altemative forms and sources in order to financingthe agricultural sector. Growth tax and index determination and time series graphic analysis allowed to caracterize financial rural altematives achieved by farmers and cooperatives, banking institutions and agribusiness sector Analysis of agriculture raw-material processing industries showed dependance between such sector and agriculture sector, but through future buy contracts (pre-financing by buyers) it is possible provide financial resources for farmers and also, maintain agribusiness enterprises activities, with no govemment interferences. Interation among cooperative and agriculture suppliers industries, together with financial institutions assured resources for the farmers, maintenance of suppliers sales, and new sources of resources with less risk for bankers. Finally the conclusion is that financing agriculture continue to have strong importanceto the development of agricultural economy and brazilian agribusiness
