A construção dos valores ambientais: um estudo a partir dos conselhos municipais de meio ambiente no Médio Vale do Itajaí/SC

RESUMO

The present study began in October of 2005 end ended in November of 2006, it deals with environmental values that permeate the performance of the city councils of environment next to the cities of Blumenau and Indaial on the middle Vale of Itajaí/SC. The objective was to identify and to analyze the environment values and interests that permeate the practice of these councils, watching itself which social environment questions comes being argued or omitted and which are the deliberations of these councils in the solution of the environment problems. The subject becomes relevant because the theorical sources are scarces, but it permits understand how these environment councils act to final the regional sustainable development. The methodology of the research was divided in two stages: 1) data-collecting (interviews, comments bibliographical and documentary); 2) the analysis of the data. The results demonstrate that all the council members of environment of Blumenau and Indaial possess a conception of sustainable development defended by the CMMAD. Some of the council members believe a development through of the environment management integrated planmed and participation only a long time. Referring the preservation of the nature, the opinions are divided, 50% believe that preserved nature is the no touch nature, and 50% the preserved nature are little modified by the action of the human being. And about the care with animals, all the council members demonstrate an anthropocentric vision. However, we perceive that, even though the council members possess and anthropocentric vision about environment, they believe that, with a environment management integrated and participative action, close to sustainable development according to CMMAD (1988), it will be possible the solution of these environment problems based on social environment sustainable in which the councils believe
