1. Micropropagation of Physalis peruviana L.

In the study of hunter-gatherer societies, the importance of subsistence hunting in these groups has been overstated, modeling even the proposals of the early colonization of the continent. Furthermore, lithic materials associated with processing of plant resources have been ignored or undervalued because of the difficult conditions of preservation of organi

3. Aspectos relacionados à competência organogenética de meristemas caulinares de Dendrobium Second Love (Orchidaceae) / Aspects of Dendrobium second love shoot meristems (Orchidaceae) related to organogenetic competence
In vitro tissues, organs or plants culture has been widely used as a micropropagation technique aiming to study a number of factors involved in vegetable growth and development. In the present study, we evaluated the physiological conditions related to different vegetative or reproductive organogenetic responses in in vitro Dendrobium Second Love (Orchidacea

4. Susceptibilidade de Tribolium castaneum ao óleo essencial de mostarda e persperctivas de manejo de resistência / Susceptibility of Tribolium castaneum to essential oil of mustard and perspectives resistance management
In this work, we studied the toxicity of mustard oil to 18 populations of Tribolium castaneum (Coleoptera: Tenebrionidae) collected in Brazil, and the correlation with their resistance and phosphine. There is relationship between toxicity of mustard oil and respiratory rate; we were seeking evidence that would be determinant of susceptibility to mustard oil.

5. Composição, abundância e dinâmica reprodutiva e alimentar de populações de peixes de um reservatório recém-formado (UHE - Capim Branco I / MG)
The loss of diversity is one of the main damage to the environment caused by the construction of reservoirs and it is related to the disappearance of terrestrial habitats by flooding, and the changes produced in the aquatic habitat. These changes reflect, above all, in the availability of food and in the reproduction of the fish species, leading to a remarka

7. REPRODUCTIVE RESPONSE OF FEMALE OF BLACK CATFISH Rhamdia quelen, FEED WITH DIFFERENTS PROTEIN AND LIPIDS SOURCES / RESPOSTAS REPRODUTIVAS DE FÊMEAS DE JUNDIÁ (Rhamdia quelen) ALIMENTADAS COM DIFERENTES FONTES PROTÉICAS E LIPÍDICAS
The aim of the work was to evaluate the effect of different protein and lipid sources of animal and vegetable origin on the reproductive performance of black catfish Rhamdia quelen females. Three experiments were accomplished with duration of 90 days each, divided in three phases: Phase I, Reproducers feeding; phase II, Induced reproduction and eggs and larv

8. Action of some insecticides with sterilizing properties on Spodoptera frugiperda (J. E. Smith, 1797) (Lepidoptera: Noctuidae) and its predator Doru luteipes (Scudder, 1876) (Dermaptera: Forficulidae) / Ação de alguns inseticidas com propriedades esterilizantes sobre Spodoptera frugiperda (J.E. Smith, 1797) (Lepidoptera: Noctuidae) e seu predador Doru luteipes (Scudder, 1876) (Dermaptera: Forticulidae)
The fall armyworm, Spodoptera frugiperda (Smith, 1797) (Lepidoptera: Noctuidae), is an important pest of the maize culture. In the tropical area, it causes severe damages, reducing the income from grains by up to 60%. Its control is normally carried out by the application of conventional insecticides, but this method is not recommended due to the negative as

10. Reproductive and productive performance of lactating sows fed diets supplemented with vegetable oil or tallow / Efeito da adição do óleo de soja, óleo de linhaça, óleo de coco babaçu e sebo bovino nos parâmetros produtivos e reprodutivos de fêmeas suínas em lactação
Twenty-four Dalland C40 sows were used in one experiment to study the effect of dietary vegetable oil or tallow on productive and reproductive parameters. All sows were fed a corn-soybean meal diet supplemented with 8% soybean (T1), linseed (T2), coconut (T3) oil or tallow (T4) from day 100 of gestation and throughout the lactation period. Sow initial weight

12. Soybean canopy [Glycine max (L.), Merril photosynthetic pigments estimation by measns of spectral reflectance / Utilização da reflectância espectral para a estimativa de pigmentos fotossintéticos em dosséis de soja [Gycine Max (.L), Merril]
Photosynthetic pigments are essential for plant development, because they are responsible for the incident solar energy absorption used in photosynthesis. Individually quantifying these pigments in great extensions of agricultural crops has been made possible by hyperspectral remote sensing development and these information can be used to produce a more accu
