Vida cotidiana, história e movimentos sociais

This article aims to discuss the relationship between daily life and history. The analysis is developed in three stages: situating the issue of daily life in one of its principal expressions in sociology; focusing on phenomenology, in particular its concept of "horizon", which I believe provides one of the keys for solving this theoretical problem; and finally seeking to relate this discussion more directly to the theoretical field of social systems, principally to the theory of social movements, since the latter have been viewed in modernity as prime inductors of historical change.
