Proteomic research and diagnosis in bladder cancer: state of the art review

ABSTRACT Purpose: Proteomic biomarkers have been emerging as alternative methods to the gold standard procedures of cystoscopy and urine cytology in the diagnosis and surveillance of bladder cancer (BC).
