Lipid profile and body composition of HIV-1 infected patients treated with highly active antiretroviral therapy

Highly active antiretroviral therapy (HAART) has been associated with the development of a clinical group and metabolic disorders such as peripheral lipodystrophy syndrome in AIDS.
