Hyptis pectinata gel prevents alveolar bone resorption in experimental periodontitis in rats

Hyptis pectinata (L.) Poit., Lamiaceae, is an aromatic, abundant and broadly used plant species in Sergipe to treat oral and gastrointestinal pain and inflammation.
