Hump-nosed viper bite: an important but under-recognized cause of systemic envenoming

Hump-nosed viper bites are common in the Indian subcontinent. In the past, hump-nosed vipers (Hypnale species) were considered moderately venomous snakes whose bites result mainly in local envenoming.
