Aportes al conocimiento de la riqueza florística para la gestion ambiental de la Sierra de Najasa, Camagüey, Cuba

ABSTRACT The more interesting aspects of floristic resources of the Sierra de Najasa, Najasa municipality, Camagüey, Cuba are expressed. The total richness is 132 genera and 167 species in 64 families; this represents 2.5% of Cuban vascular plants in the area. The vegetation map shows the plant communities and the sampling sites. The highest number of species is found in the sites 6, 8 and 11, which are characterized by two kinds of semideciduous forest.
