The aim of this analysis is to trace the scientific production of the directors and collaborators whose investigation projects had been approved by the Department of Science and Technology of the Universidad Nacional de Córdoba during 1996 _ 1999. These projects were used as a sample of scientific productivity, and the application of bibliometric laws on the analysis of the scientific production of fourteen academic units, made it possible to identify who publishes and where the researchers publish their work.
