1. Impact of COVID-19 on Cardiothoracic Surgery: Experience of Alexandria (Egypt) Main University Hospital
ABSTRACT Introduction: The current coronavirus pandemic has greatly strained the limited resources that had previously maintained the sustainability of the high-cost cardiothoracic surgeries in low-income countries like Egypt. Methods: Hospital databases and patients’ records were reviewed to evaluate the impact of the pandemic on the workflow and waitin

4. Waiting for Superman: A cultural studies analysis in the nightmare of the present
Abstract While the history of cultural studies cites origins in adult education and contemporary scholars continue to note the need for cultural studies work in schools the connections between cultural studies and educational theorizing seem strained. This paper suggests the recent film Waiting for Superman offers an opportunity for a cultural studies analys

5. Factors Affecting Kinetics of Strain Aging in S275JRC Steel
The materials parameter i.e. microstructure as well as the processing factors i.e. aging time and temperature, the amount of plastic deformation, and residual stresses affecting the kinetic of strain ageing in the S275JRC steel were investigated in detail. For this purpose, 5 % pre-strained steel was aged at 160ºC for different intervals. The ageing behavio

6. Thick CrN/NbN Multilayer Coating Deposited by Cathodic Arc Technique
The production of tribological nanoscale multilayer CrN/NbN coatings up to 6 µm thick by Sputtering/HIPIMS has been reported in literature. However, high demanding applications, such as internal combustion engine parts, need thicker coatings (>30 µm). The production of such parts by sputtering would be economically restrictive due to low deposition rates.

7. In-vitro screening of Kalahari browse species for rumen methane mitigation
The nutritional value of browse foliage from the Thorny Kalahari Dune Bush veld of South Africa is not characterized. Most of this browse species is rich in tannin, but still palatable, and is consumed by ruminants during the dry season, as well as having a role to play in mitigating enteric methane emission from ruminants. In this study, the rumen methane m

8. Microstructural and Micromechanical Effects of Cold Roll-forming on High Strength Dual Phase Steels
In this work correlation between the 1000 MPa dual phase (DP) steel microstructure and the strain gained after roll-forming process have been studied by both microstructural and micromechanical analysis. The scanning electron microscope (SEM) inspection in the bent area reveals changes in the ferrite-martensitic microstructure. The plastic deformation of DP

9. Effect of Quenching Rate and Pre-strain on the Strain Ageing Behaviors of 7075 Aluminum Alloys
The mechanical properties of aluminum alloys are strongly dependent on the thermo-mechanical process so, the strain ageing behavior of 7075 Al-alloy was investigated in this study. A set of test pieces was solution heat treated at 480 °C for 2 h, water quenched (SHTWQ) then pre-strained for 8% in tension. The test samples were aged at 140 °C for 0.5, 1, 2,

10. Does Stone Entrapment With "Uro-Net" Improve Ho:YAG Laser Lithotripsy Efficiency in Percutaneous Nephrolithotomy and Cystolithopaxy?: an In Vitro Study
Purpose to test the effect of stone entrapment on laser lithotripsy efficiency. Materials and Methods Spherical stone phantoms were created using the BegoStone® plaster. Lithotripsy of one stone (1.0g) per test jar was performed with Ho:YAG laser (365µm fiber; 1 minute/trial). Four laser settings were tested: I-0.8J,8Hz; II-0.2J,50Hz; III-0.5J,50Hz; IV-

12. Influência do Crescimento Epitaxial Seletivo (SEG) em transistores SOI de porta tripla de canal N tensionado. / Influence of Selective Epitaxial Growth (SEG) in strained SOI triple gate N transistors.
A tecnologia SOI MuGFET
