1. Editorial Comment: Penile cancer information on the internet: a needle in a haystack
Abstract A good wireless network design depends on technical and financial viability and a number of other criteria that must be met. Following the emergence of new technologies and services, such as 5G transmission and the reuse of frequencies, new work is being carried out to ensure a better design for a particular area. This study examines a discrete radi

6. Vegetation Image as Bayesian Predictor for Radio Propagation in Complex Environments Using Unscented Transform
Abstract Vegetation is considered a complex environment for analysis of scattering and attenuation in radio propagation phenomena. Satellite image processing can improve planning of radio systems with a vegetation attenuation predictor. In this research, the prediction is based on the correlation of more than 56% between RGB pixel values and vegetation atten

7. Heuristics for the optimized deployment of small cells in next-generation networks
Abstract Heterogeneous Networks (HetNets) have been introduced as an alternative means of improving the overall network capacity. However, HetNets increase the complexity and cost of transport due to the large number of smallcells (SCs) that have to be connected, and hence, it is essential to investigate the best way to plan the joint deployment of radio and

8. Radio-Wave Propagation Model for UHF Band in Different Climatic Conditions with Dyadic Green’s Function
AbstractThis article proposes a deterministic radio propagation model using dyadic Green's function to predict the value of the electric field. Dyadic is offered as an efficient mathematical tool which has symbolic simplicity and robustness, as well as taking account of the anisotropy of the medium. The proposed model is an important contribution for the UHF

12. Channel characteristics in tunnels: FDTD simulations and measurement
This paper presents the results of measurements and simulations of the characteristics of 900 MHz band radio propagation channels in a tunnel environment. The simulations were made using the FDTD method (with companion UPML) and measurements made use of the swept frequency technique. Another method, the metaheuristic Simulated Annealing, was implemented for
