1. Estudo da dinâmica de partículas brownianas quânticas / Study of the dynamics of quantum brownian particles

2. Entangled Brownian particles / Particulas Brownianas emaranhadas
This work consists in a study of entanglement in open quantum systems, within the brownian particles model. The interest comes from the possibility of understanding the mechanisms that lead the environment to create or to keep entanglement between quantum systems and not only make them lose energy or coherence. We start by making a review of the meaning of e

3. Estudo do acoplamento efetivo entre duas particulas brownianas quanticas / Study of effective coupling between two quantum Brownian particles
We use the system-plus-reservoir model to study the dynamics of a system of two particles that interact with a heat bath in thermal equilibrium, but do not interact with each other. We present an extension of the bath of oscillators capable of inducing an effective coupling between the brownian particles depending on the choice made to the spectral function

4. Transporte em nanoestruturas: mÃtodos de movimento Browniano e teoria de circuitos
The results presented in this thesis can be divided into two parts. In the first one we study a class of Brownian motion ensembles (BME) obtained from the general theory of matricial Markovian stochastic processes of random matrix theory. The ensembles are characterized by a Fokker-Planck equation and are closely related to Hamiltonians of Calogero-Sutherlan

5. Classical trajectories and quantum field theory
The density matrix and the Wigner function formalism requires the doubling of the degrees of freedom in quantum mechanics (QM) and quantum field theory (QFT). The doubled degrees of freedom play the role of the thermal bath or environment degrees of freedom and are entangled with the system degrees of freedom. They also account for quantum noise in the fluct
