11. Stenting of stenosed aortopulmonary collaterals: a new approach to palliation in pulmonary atresia with multifocal aortopulmonary blood supply.
A patient with complex pulmonary atresia and increasing cyanosis due to stenoses of aortopulmonary collateral vessels improved after implantation of balloon expandable stents into the stenosed vessels. Stent implantation may provide an alternative to surgical palliation in this group of patients.

12. Palliation of malignant tracheal strictures using silicone T tubes.
The use of silicone T tubes for intubation of malignant tracheobronchial strictures may provide some degree of palliation of this distressing condition. It was used in seven patients with malignant lesions and two with benign strictures (resulting from tracheal trauma and lung transplantation).
