1. Experimental Multi-scale analysis of Carbon/Epoxy Composites Nano-Reinforced by Carbon Nanotubes/Multi-layer Graphene
Nano-size structures, nanotubes/multi-layer graphene (CNT/MLG), were dispersed into epoxy system by a combination of sonication and high shear mixing. To avoid CNT/MLG agglomeration, a non-covalent functionalization were performed using surfactants, CO890 - Polyoxyethylene (40) nonylphenyl ether and SDBS - sodium dodecyl benzene sulfonate. Raman spectroscopy

2. Low-velocity Impact Response of a Nanocomposite Beam Using an Analytical Model
AbstractLow-velocity impact of a nanocomposite beam made of glass/epoxy reinforced with multi-wall carbon nanotubes and clay nanoparticles is investigated in this study. Exerting modified rule of mixture (MROM), the mechanical properties of nanocomposite including matrix, nanoparticles or multi-wall carbon nanotubes (MWCNT), and fiber are attained. In order

3. Simultaneous Determination of Ascorbic Acid, L-Dopa, Uric Acid, Insulin, and Acetylsalicylic Acid on Reactive Blue 19 and Multi-Wall Carbon Nanotube Modified Glassy Carbon Electrode
A trifunctional electrochemical sensor was fabricated for simultaneous determination of ascorbic acid (AA), levodopa (LD), and insulin. This was done by modifying a glassy carbon electrode (GCE) with multi-walled carbon nanotubes and reactive blue 19 (RB-MWCNT-GCE). Cyclic voltammetry was used to investigate the redox properties of this modified electrode. T

4. Estudo das dispersões aquosas de nanotubos de carbono utilizando diferentes surfactantes
The dispersion of carbon nanotubes in water for their utilization in nanoscale devices is a challenging task. Comparative studies on interaction and dispersion of multi-wall carbon nanotubes (MWNT) using two different surfactants (sodium dodecyl sulfate, SDS, and polyoxyethylenesorbitanmonooleate, Tween 80) are presented. The interaction between carbon nanot

5. Expressão do receptor de macrófago com estrutura de colágeno (MARCO) em macrófagos, células dendríticas e células tumorais após internalização de nanotubos de carbono / Expression of macrophage receptor with collagen structure (MARCO) in macrophages, dendritic cells and tumor cells after internalization of carbon nanotubes
The aplication of nanotechnology emerges with potential for application in the biomedical area, pathological diagnosis and treatment, drug transport and intracellular transport of molecules. Among the nanoparticles, carbon nanotubes (NT) belong to a new class of material for application in the biomedical area. Due to its small size, the NT can be internalize

6. Nanocomposites epoxy/MWNT functionalized with poly (ethylene glycol) / Nanocompósitos epóxi/NCPM funcionalizados com polietileno glicol
