27. Deletion of chromosome 13 in Moebius syndrome.
A girl aged 2 1/2 years with Moebius syndrome was found to have a deletion of band q12.2 in chromosome 13 (46,XX,del(13)(q12.2]. This is the second report concerning involvement of chromosome 13q and Moebius syndrome. The observation raises the possibility that a gene responsible for Moebius syndrome is located in this region of chromosome 13.

28. Interstitial deletion of bands 4q12-->q13.1: case report and review of proximal 4q deletions.
We report a 6 year old child with a small de novo interstitial deletion of proximal 4q, karyotype 46,XX,del(4)(pter-->q12::q13.1-->qter). She has made good developmental progress and attends normal school with minimal assistance. We review published reports and clinical findings in patients with proximal 4q deletions.

31. Interstitial del(13)(q21.3q31) associated with psychomotor retardation, eczema, and absent suck and swallowing reflex.
A patient with a deletion (13)(q21.3q31) showed only eczema and absent suck and swallowing reflex, in contrast to other well documented cases with a similar deletion. Apparently there is wide clinical variability in patients with deletions in this area.

32. Chromosome 20 long arm deletion in an elderly malformed man.
A 46,XY/46,XY,del(20)(q13-->q13.33) mosaicism was identified in a 68 year old man who had mild mental retardation and severe malformation of the limbs. The clinical findings of the patient are compared to those of the very few cases of 20q deletion published to date.
