RESUMO

In this work we present a study of the dynamics in the vicinity of the Lagrangian points L1 and L2 in the restricted three-body problem, considering the Sun-Earth and Earth-Moon models. Notwithstanding the hyperbolic character of these points, the reduction to the central manifold allows periodic and quasi-periodic orbits. This procedure is applied through the normal form calculations, which decouples the elliptical directions from the hyperbolic ones in the hamiltonian of the problem. The globalization of the hyperbolic invariant manifolds of these periodic orbits ensures the study of the dynamics in a large vicinity of the lagrangian point. Since these hyperbolic manifolds divide the phase space, in the planar restricted three-body problem, two types of trajectory are defined: transit ones, confined to the internal region of the manifold, and non-transit ones, external to the manifold. These trajectories can be employed to design a space mission from the Earth to the Moon with low fuel cost which we must couple two restricted three-body problems, Sun-Earth-spacecraf and Earth-Moon-spacecraft. Towards this goal we applied the bicircular problem, in which the trajectory was refined using the multiple shooting techniques. We also present the bi-impulsive transfer trajectories, based on the two point boundary value problem with a fixed transfer time. These transfers are employed to place a space vehicle in a halo orbit, within the framework of the restricted three-body problem and the quasi bicircular problem, and we carry out a comparison of the velocity impulses necessary for each model.
