RESUMO

This study aimed to evaluate through Beam Computed Tomography Volumetric cone (Cone-Beam), transport and the ability to centralize various automated systems. The mesiobuccal roots of maxillary first molars were divided into four groups (n=10) according to the automated systems used: GI - reciprocating with K-file Flexofile, GII - reciprocating with file NiTiflex, GIII - rotatory of the system files with K3 and GIV - rotatory with the system files RaCe. Tomographic examinations were carried out before and after biomechanical preparation with apical stop set at 40.02. The transport was measured from the lowest distance between the inner wall of the channel and the mesial and distal sides of the roots and the ability to centralize the relationship between the differences in measurements obtained in the assessment of transport, using the linear method of analysis voxel to voxel. Transportation was on average 0.060.14 mm, and the tendency of the diversion to mesial (n=22), but without statistical difference between groups (p=0.4153). The index of centralization was, on average, 0.150.65, without statistical difference between groups (p=0.0881). It was concluded that the transport and the ability to centralize were not influenced by the type of mechanical movement or instruments used.
