RESUMO

The dissertation The contemporary audiovisual - a worldy language discusses the relations between the several medias that compose the audiovisual and their influences amongst one another, in order to understand wether there is one specific aesthethic for each one of them or if there is a general one that englobes all these medias, a wordly aesthethic. Our starting point is the over-criticized advertisement aesthethic in contemporary Brazilian film, wich we analize based on the works of Edgar Morin, Andreas Huyssen and Renato Ortiz. Some of the Brazilian filmakers that fit into our discussion, such as, Guel Arraes, Cláudio Torres and Fernando Meirelles, as well as television comercials, will also be analized.
