RESUMO

The propose of this study is to formulate a methodological proposal of body training for dancers with physical disabilities based on experimentations with the Somatic Integration of the Bartenieff Fundamentals. Adding to the proposal the interest in developing experiences and discoveries relating to the body with physical disability, aiming to contribute in the creative process in dance and also, that this body investigation can achieve senses and signification for the ones that are up to develop it. Beside this, the study seeks to activate the disabled artists and provide medium for their own artistic creations, connecting and integrating their own motor, psychic, biological, spiritual, cultural and social history, with the medium they inhabit, in an inclusive and creative process. It is proposed in this study to access, through experimental laboratories, four professional dancers, integrating the somatic proposal of the Bartenieff Fundamentals technique in training and creation in dance. During eight months of experiment, it was registered the insights, the needs, the possibilities and the transformations of the dancers in relationship to the integration of the Bartenieff technique. In this research the concept of body was approached as experience, the pillar of the Somatic Education the theoretical-practical field that is interested in the relationship between the human motricity, the conscience and the learning process. To collect the data, it was used the following methods: active observation, group discussion, diary records, video recordings, photography and personal interview. Through a constructivist perspective and using the data analysis the teacher/researcher proceeded to the interpretation of the experiences of the dancers. The result discussion considered the relationship between the paths of the somatic knowledge and the constructivist pedagogy, in a body-poetic investigation of the human diversity.
