RESUMO

This research arises from a reflection about the Creative Process of the Dance Group of Faculdade de Artes do Paraná , in Curitiba. In the last seven years, some actions as, investigation, creation and formation in dance, significantly acted on the trajectory of this Group, which is under my direction since 2000. The Dance Course opened its doors, so that the body studies became a reference for investigation, formation and movement creation. This (Master) Dissertation emphasizing the importance of the Somatic Education in the process of creating a dancing body which is constantly discussing, criticizing and researching art and life, the creator-interpreter. The aim of this research is to register, through the analysis of the creation procedures phases, the esthetic path of the artistic production of the Dance Group of Faculdade de Artes do Paraná (GDFAP). The methodology consisted in analysing the data in a systemic way, and that means understanding the articulations between the researched elements from systemic theories proposed by Jorge Albuquerque, from the movement principles and body of Rudolf Laban, Stanley Keleman, Madeleine M. Béziers, Bonnie Bainbridge Cohen, Imgard Bartenieff, the cultural and politics studies developed by Zigmund Bauman and Stuart Hall, and the contribution of the criticism of the creative processes, from Cecília Salles. From the exercise of theoretical and practical investigation the research formulates new strategies of creation and analysis, inventing distinct research cores, decentralizing hierarchies, multiplying ideas and actions and expanding dance thoughts throughout the time and space.
