Sociedade civil, humanitarismo e utilitarismo : um estudo empÃrico sobre os padrÃes de solidariedade das ONGs da RMR

RESUMO

This research is an empiric study on solidarity standards of the non-governamental organizations in the Great Recife which, in spite of structuring their practice in centred network organizations in sociability process lived in their daily life, would be structuring their practices according to an utilitary and individualist view, in order to gain a greater recognition, social approval, or to their sheer suvival. The data to carry out this study was mainly obtained through questionnaire applications on NGOs that were selected from a snowball sample type. Afterwords were applied semi-structured interviews on those entities. The statistical data processing (data introduction in a spread-sheet, codification, statistical treatments, etc.) was carried out through of the utilization of a statistical program SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Sciences).
