RESUMO

This work presents a systematic examination of information acquiring and sharing among users of an academic network enhanced with social navigation and filtering facilities to help learners share their knowledge. It also describes a research model for studying relations among perceptions of informal collaboration, utility, ease of use and information overload. To identify these relations weights and validate the mode, structural equation modeling technique is used.
