Sistema de processamento de sinais biomédicos: ambiente de monitoração cardíaca em realidade virtual

RESUMO
The Virtual Reality has been used with success in teaching and learning in many areas of education. New forms of professional empowerment on Biomedical Engineering area are welcome and, in this sense, the Virtual Reality is capable to provide training support on several Biomedical Engineering themes. In this work, the electrocardiography theme inspired the implementation of a training virtual environment of cardiac monitoring, where a virtual patient is manipulated through electrodes and terminals placing, following the simulation of ECG signal capture, by a virtual cardiac monitor. The system development applied Web3D technologies and system#s validation and evaluation demonstrated the approach#s feasibility. This system has been supported by electrocardiography theoretical contents from learning platform of Biomedical Engineering, providing new methods of teaching and learning of electrocardiography and cardiac monitoring themes.
