Resiliência na terapia familiar: construindo, compartilhando e ressignificando experiências

RESUMO

This paper aims to analyze and to comprehend transformations through Resilience Family Therapy Approach, including its content and process. This Family Therapy model is grounded on assessment and strengthening of Key Resilience Family Processes that include the Organizational Patterns, Communicational Process and Belief Systems of family. Participants are four families randomly selected, and seen during ten therapy sessions. The Key Family Resilience Process scale - Self-report is applied by the first and tenth sessions. The Genogram and Family Time Line are also utilized. The sessions are tape recorded and literally transcripted. Data analysis is based on Grounded Theory Methodology, including aprioristic categories taken from Key Family Resilience Processes and Core Principles for Strengthening Relational Resilience. The results show the changes with families through the psychotherapy process and at the end of ten sessions; its evolutive stages and the resources that families have mobilized for facing the daily challenges. It concludes that the manner families perceives themselves in relating to Key Processes, is associated to stress situation coping in that moment. The Family Organizational Patterns, Communicational Processes and Belief Systems are directly influenced by cultural differences. It is presented suggestions to increase the Key Family Resilience Process and Core Principles for Strengthening Relational Resilience Tables by including variability founded. The central phenomenon that involves the transformations on psychotherapy process is defined as: "Constructing, Sharing and Making Meaning of Experiences ".
