Representações em educação on-line: um estudo das "falas" na perspectiva dos sujeitos aprendizes

RESUMO

The coming of the Internet has broadened the rendering of services and is creating a transition of paradigms in the educational field, engendering a new approach in the concepts of teaching and learning. In online education cooperative virtual learning communities are formed which utilize synchronic and asynchronic tools, creating interaction and allowing students to establish exchange of information with their peers and teachers, show their viewpoint, discuss ideas, in other words to build a series of representations. This study identifies and interprets some of these individual representations built by an online course, in respect to the temporality, the new space, the new possibilities of social interaction, the retaking of the written word and the various aspects of knowledge. This research warns us to some of the problems to be faced by those who offer on online course, because the coming of the WWW can foster the democratization of knowledge, but it also represents something to be assimilated by learners.
