RESUMO

The work is an approach of literary and some religious experiences starting from concepts of the psychoanalysis about some issues of the Universal Church of the Kingdom of God s doctrine. Subject of this study is formed mainly by the books Edir Macedo wrote about theology of prosperity, points of contact and demoniac possession. Theoretical apparatus to analyze the theology of prosperity consists in Lacan s concept about the mirror stage and the relation between the value of child s excrement s and money developed by Freud. The points of contact are related with Winnicott s transitional objects and demonic possession is argued with Freud s studies about hysteria and conversion sympyoms
