RESUMO

In this dissertation we investigate the point of view construction especially through the use of nominal groups in fictionist discourse. The argumentation is viewed as a dramatization of different voices, indicated (among other things) by referentiation processo The mode of referent presentation by nominal groups attests a specific perspective, which guides meaning construction. Our most important concem, therefore, is not only about the role referents introduction, articulation and development have in cohesion and topic progression, as it have been focused on referentiation studies, but also with the referent presentation mode, which indicates a narrative point of view, that, in articulations with other different points of view, guides interpretation and makes possible the dramatization of criticism
