RESUMO
In this work the lateral pressures caused by placement of the fresh concrete in the formwork has been investigated. Some factors that have influenced the behaviour of these pressure were analysed. Several research works conceming equations for the lateral pressure calculation, which consider the density product of the concrete by the height as maximum limit of this pressure, were studied. With the test results, it was statistically analyzed the influence of the variables slump and concrete pour rate, on the lateral pressure behaviour, in several heights. With these variables and the height of placed concrete, a general equation was found. The reliability of the proposed test to determine the pressures along the formwork height was analyzed
