RESUMO

The potentialities, especially with respect to the extractives in the morfoclimate domain of the Cerrado they show sustainable alternatives of development, as a way for the solution of the serious problems, with which if they confrot the agricultural workers and the lack of support of the State. The present study was abided to search it the potentialities and viabilities of use of cumbaru (Dipteryx alata Vog.), as alternative of local, present development in an area of fragmentation forest in the morfoclimate domain of the Cerrado in Mato Grosso of the South, where if it finds established the Agricultural Nesting Andalucia. Of this form, on the basis of referenciais conceptual theoreticians and, the first chapter present the characteristics and potentialities of the species in fragmentos of the Cerrado. In second chapter, the procedures of the bibliographical research are approached and; the choice of the city and the community; the description of the area and climatic characterization of the Nesting; the species in study and its characteristics; the people to be interviewed; as well as the field research. In chapter three she discourses yourself on the local community, with emphasis in the answers gotten through the applied questionnaire, involving, particularly, the knowledge and use of cumbaru. And, finally, in chapter four is presented and argued alternative of development from the potentialities of the place. In this perspective, the question of the local development in Forest areas of Fragmentation in the State of Mato Grosso of the South one passes, necessarily, for the valuation of the native species still gifts in the region. This was demonstrated to the long one of this study and cumbaru emerges as one of the alternatives in the construction of the local sustainability. What if it abstracted to the long one of the work is entertainer, under the point of view of the desire on the part of the community of the Andalucia Nesting, in that if it relates to the union, cooperation and interest in searching in the culture of cumbaru and its products, a form to increase the familiar income, propitiating one better quality of life and, consequently, the increase of esteem and welfare state. It is important to remember that already a latent accumulate stock in the community exists and that the beginning of the first ones of the nets of relations and mutual cooperation are happening, in a clear demonstration that the differences between the actors leave to exist and the union is fortified, allowing to happen, gradually, so dreamed society inclusion.
