RESUMO
Various types of nervous system diseases have been associated with QT prolongation and ventricular arrhythmias. This report describes a young woman with a pituitary tumor, who had QT prolongation and recurrent syncope secondary to ventricular fibrillation. Effective therapy with digoxin and propranolol are described, and pathophysiology of the syndrome is discussed.
