RESUMO

The volume of buildings made of concrete s pavement is increasing in Brazil and there is a pressing need of a better understanding about the peculiarities of its execution according to its climatic features and region s ground quality. Brazilian texts referring to concrete s pavements execution is the result of researches by Portland Cement Association of Brazil based on international experiences. Inside this context, this dissertation was developed with the intention of grasping knowledge from specialists about the main elements for the execution of concrete s pavement s work on soft ground. For its realization, were used experiences obtained during duplication and capacity adjustment works on BR-101, lots 1, 5 and 6 which were under responsibility of Brazilian Army. The results confirmed the need of reevaluation and growth of literature about this subject, and there is also a need to adapt some of the equipment used to do the execution. The market has instruments that can monitor the quality of soil and the advancement of technology we should reappraise the tolerances of each layer of the ground, being these technological advances a real fact. With the increase of new technologies usage on concrete s pavement, this dissertation s author understands that some effort must be made to the dissemination of knowledge generated among researchers, engineers and work s managers, with the aim of avoid waste of resources, increase the quality of concrete s pavement, improve the productivity and the companies public image, collaborating to the technological development of Brazilian land engineering. Contributes to this work specifically with these aspects in the construction on soft ground and propose a check list for implementation of concreteâs pavement
