Os significados atribuídos a visita domiciliária por idosos assistidos no programa saúde da família de Floriano-Piauí

RESUMO

The domicile is seen today as a space in which people can keep the stability of their unhealthy problems, with a good quality of life. Thus, the home people care experience is a reality each day more frequently in the families routine, and a tendency of the public health politics. However, considering the actuation of the Family Health Programs teams, despite knowing the strategies and tending to lead themselves inside the changes focus, there is still more to advance when we refer to domicile visit. The objective of this research was to comprehend the meanings attributed to the domicile visit by aged assisted by the Family Health Program of Floriano Piauí. The research modality chosen was the descriptive, with emphasis in qualitative dimension. The data collect was accomplished through the semi-structured interview guidelines, being the data ordination accomplished trough the Collective Subject Speech, from the identification of the Central Ideas en Key-Expressions, present in the individual speeches. The study was accomplished with 15 (fifteen) registered aged and followed by a family health team. The majority of the interviewed was women in the age range of 60 and 80 years, of low income and low education, taken by illness that generated some sort of dependence. The interviews were accomplished in the own aged domicile during the month of July and August of 2006. The results point to the fact that the domicile visit is necessary and desired by the aged, however some speeches showed dissatisfaction mainly about the health team-client relationship and the absence of the complete team during the DV. It was stated a DV that approaches the traditional pole of health services offers focused to the individual and the illness. Some speeches caused reflections in the direction of the necessity to lead a DV as a health practice that seeks to satisfy the user, stimulating him to recognize the health as citizenship right and, therefore, expression of effective social participation.
