O vocabulário em documentos escolares de morretes oitocentista no Paraná : um estudo filológico

RESUMO
This thesis is based on the study of the lexicon of education of Morretes in Paraná, through analysis of manuscripts produced in the municipality. For this purpose, I used the philological approach that is characterized by the study of ancient documents. The overall goal is to compose a vocabulary with lexical units extracted from the corpus. The specific objectives are intended to make the semidiplomatic edition of manuscripts produced in Morretes in the 1800s; to seek the origins of Portuguese-Latin Gramaticography and Lexicography studies showing the reflection of society in the construction of the linguistic reality of Morretes in the nineteenth century. This work is divided into: Introduction, in which I present, besides the aforementioned goals, the question-problem, the hypothesis and other five chapters. The first one is the methodology that delineated the steps to reach the proposed development of the vocabulary, the structure of the manuscripts and their authors and the type of editing, which is conservative, as well as standards for transcription. In chapter 2 the historical background guides the reader in the space-time of manuscripts for better understanding of extralinguistic facts that may have contributed to the occurrence of changes in the Portuguese, paranaense language. The historiography of education shows that the beginning of Paraná unworthy of education in Brazil charged on investments necessary for a society that needs to go forward. In chapter 3, the theoretical discussions debate the study of the lexicon in paranaense land, analyze the influence of communities in the production of their home language, and terms belonging to a particular socio-cultural-historical moment of the manuscripts and the course of the lexicologic and lexicographic practice. Chapter 4 contains steps for the preparation of the vocabulary items that should compose it, the appropriate terms of its studies with foundation works dealing with lexicographic techniques. In Chapter 5 I present the vocabulary, the main objective of this research. The final considerations show that the hypotheses of this thesis are legitimate, because I identified very little investigated problems. The references contain the references that fueled the theoretical framework of this research. At the end, I submit attachments with the nineteenth-century curriculum. A second volume brings the nineteenth-century manuscripts and their transcription in parallel columns.
