O uso das danças folclóricas no contexto pedagógico da educação física escolar

RESUMO
The purpose of this study is to check, identify and analize the folklore dance educational usage in Physical Education at school. Public and private schools from the urban area in Montes Claros City were selected for it. Seventy-four professionals participate in this project, which means 50% of the teaching staff in Physical Education, filling out a questionnaire. In the data analysis the test Qui-quadrado was used to determine the difference in the answers according to the school they belong. The results showed that the most teachers have less knowledge on the folkloric dances and do not use the same ones as an educational practice looking for a general formation of the students.
