RESUMO

The dissertation The Teleitor on the Auto da Compadecida and City of God have the feature intersemiotic exploring the dialog between the literature and mediatic images from television and from cinema through both literary works adapted to those means technologies: O Auto da Compadecida , by Ariano Suassuna and City of God, by Paulo Lins. Both transpositions of great receptions by the audience. We created the expression Teleitor with the idea of locating a new reader, he is our teleitor who after watching a film or other kind of literary adaptation transposed to the screen of the television or of the cinema, he feels the necessity to go reading the book in that the prodution was based on and that it was the font first for artistic creation. Herery, we will be establishing through the work, ways that will take us to the comprotation of this assertive. Our interest is fairly try to comprovate the increase number of teleitores. We created a new area of knowledge different from that tied to the analyze o losses and earnings that happened with literary work after its rereading by the mass media
